Ward 85 residents are invited to attend a public meeting on Tuesday, 12 November, with councillor Sonja Meyer and the City Power Risk Department.
The meeting will be held from 6pm in the Phelindaba Council Chamber on the first floor of the Roodepoort Civic Centre, at 100 Christiaan De Wet Road.
The meeting will address issues relating to the topic of electricity, with the agenda covering cable theft, illegal connections, reporting mechanisms, hot spots, security measures, and contractor verification.
A question-and-answer session will be held at the end of the meeting concerning the above topics. The meeting itself is strictly restricted to discussion of these topics.
