Hirsch’s hosts popular Chef Karen Blanche

On Monday, 4 November, Hirsch’s Strubens Valley hosted another monthly Kitchen Capers cooking demo at their Whirlpool stand.

Chef Karen did a demo on a deconstructed Lemon Meringue pie that consisted of shortcrust pastry, lemon custard filling and a fluffy meringue topping.
Hirsch’s Public Relations Officer, Marjone Barnard said, “The crowd loved the sweet treats and could not stop tasting. Chef Karen was great with the crowd and explained the process step by step. All the attendees asked for the recipe and were excited to make it for their families and friends.”
