West Rand resident asking for eyewitness of crash to come forward
Driver of the red Renault is from Krugersdorp but the accident took place in Roodepoort
Early Tuesday morning, 29 October, Laudette van der Heever was involved in a light motor vehicle accident. She is asking the public for assistance with any information they may have on the incident.

”This happened to me at about 5.40am on the corner of 5th Avenue and 2nd Street, Roodepoort North,” Van der Heever stated. She was driving a red Renault hatchback and claims the driver of the vehicle that hit her, a white BMW sedan, was travelling at a tremendous speed, far in excess of the speed limit. “He wanted to overtake me as I was turning into a friend’s driveway,” she continued.
“I am asking for anyone who was there and who saw what happened to please contact me on 082 567 9062. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.”
Van der Heever has the details of the driver but is looking for an eyewitness who can assist with details of the accident to properly inform the police.
