Minibus taxi rolls on Main Reef Road

Commuters along Main Reef Road were met with delays this morning, Tuesday, 5 November. A single minibus taxi was involved in an incident between Westlake Road and Hebbard Street in Florida.

Reports indicate that the taxi rolled, causing several injuries to its occupants. They were treated on scene. Fortunately there were no serious injuries.

Alett Reed of Emer-G-Med confirmed the incident. “Ten 10 patients were treated on scene but there were no serious injuries. All patients were removed by various emergency services,” she said.

The cause of the accident is unknown and fortunately there were no fatalities.
