Ward 97’s councillors, the MMC for Economic Development Leah Knott and Ralf Bittkau, are inviting residents of the ward to a public meeting to be held on Tuesday, 12 November.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at 6pm in the Phelindaba Room on the first floor of the Roodepoort Civic Centre at 100 Christiaan De Wet Road, Florida Park.
The agenda includes the City Power Risk Department discussing its mandate; cable theft; illegal connections; reporting mechanisms; hot spot security measures, and contractor verification. The meeting will also afford the residents the opportunity to pose questions relating to the agenda to the panel.
