The Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) has revealed that there was no evidence to substantiate the allegations against the principal of Tulip Combined School in Roodepoort.
Noluthando Nyandeni, the school principal and director at the school, has been accused of mismanaging the school by two other directors who have intentions of ousting her.

The principal, who has served for more than 22 years in the role, told the Record that she was being victimised by the other directors because of her gender and race (she is a black woman).
GDE spokesperson Steve Mabona confirmed knowledge of the conflict taking place at the school between the directors.
“According to our preliminary investigations, the principal was instructed to leave the school after the two directors alleged that she was mismanaging the school and that she did not have the best interest of the school at heart.
“Our preliminary investigation has revealed that there was no evidence to substantiate the allegations levelled against the principal. The school is running normally and the parents of the learners are happy with how the principal is managing the school,” said Mabona, disclosing their findings on the matter.
However, he also indicated that the department has scheduled a meeting for 12 October with the principal and the other two directors in the hope of reaching an amicable solution.
