It really amazes me how pothole repairs are undertaken.
In our street, three potholes were filled today and the rest were ignored. I stopped at a Johannesburg Road Agency (JRA) truck parked at the swimming pool to inquire whether they would be back to fix the latter part of the road and was categorically told that they do not work in our area, which is two streets from where they were enjoying lunch.
When work is undertaken, do they not first survey the area and allocate resources for that job?
We have been faithful ratepayers for all these years!
