Majorette twirls her baton through nationals
She was chosen as the Small Drill Leader and also the leader of the group at the competition.
Mpho Mothabi, a learner at Laerskool Helderkruin, is one of the top majorettes in the school. She participated in this year’s Gauteng Championships, and qualified for her Junior Gauteng colours.
She also qualified to participate in this year’s National Competition in East London, that was hosted by the South African Majorette and Cheerleading Association (SAMCA). Mpho was chosen as the Small Drill Leader, as well as the leader of the group at the competition.
