Born on 20 September 1995, Samantha Lynne Hanratty is the youngest of eight children. Sammi and her seven siblings lived in Scottsdale, Arizona (where she was born) until 1997 when they moved to Los Angeles.
Her first big acting roles came in 2005, where she appeared in shows such as Drake and Josh, Charmed, and House. The following year, Sammi went on to appear in eight more television shows and two films, including an uncredited role in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.
Throughout the years, Sammi has played both starring and supporting roles in 19 films and 32 television series and sitcoms. She has been nominated for three Young Artist Awards, two of which were from her recurring role in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
Today she is most well known for her roles in Shameless, Zoe Gone, Pushing Daisies and Hello Sister, Goodbye Life.
