2019 African Bird Fair a success
The 2019 African Bird Fair turned out to be a successful event which saw a number of bird lovers enjoying the day with their friends and families.
BirdLife South Africa hosted the 2019 African Bird Fair on 14 and 15 September at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Garden, showcasing an exciting variety of exhibitors, guided walks and photography workshops.
Lots of fascinating talks, interesting guided walks, 40 exhibitors, delicious food and drinks from the food vendors, and more, was enjoyed on the day.

Professional bird photographer, Albert Froneman, presented some tips on how to take better bird photographs, and offered advice on equipment and camera settings for bird photography.
The guided walks consisted of advanced birding walk, a kiddies birding walk and a beginners birding walk.
