The purpose of the event was to raise funds for Amadea Safe House that takes care of 24 children who are orphaned and also disabled.
On Saturday, 31 August, International Pageant Director, Wayne Stafford, hosted an event called Cupcakes for Amadea in collaboration with Clearwater Mall’s Fashion and Beauty Expo.
The purpose of the event was to raise funds for the Amadea Safe House that takes care of 24 children who are orphaned and also disabled.

The X500 Beautiful Fashion and Beauty-inspired cupcakes were on sale on the day for R10 per cupcake.
Wayne said, “I am a former SA Bachelor of the Year Winner (2015) and have supported the Amadea Safe House since I was a finalist in the competition, during my reign as the official winner in 2015 and until now.”

Miss Regal International South Africa 2019, Tofe Olagoke and Miss Regal International TEEN South Africa 2019, Liticia Mkhavele, both supported the initiative as well as some of the children from Amadea Safe House.
The stand with the well-decorated cupcakes was located in the Piazza, sharing a spot with Espavo Hair Design and Ace Models Westrand.
Director at Amadea, Rina Malan, said, “The event was a success and the safe house appreciates the initiative as the running of the safe house is not subsidised by the government.”
