Night cricket series draw held at Laerskool Helderkruin
Competing West Rand schools were sorted into pools for the Johannesburg West Night Cricket Series tournament.
Laerskool Helderkruin hosted the Johannesburg West Night Cricket Series draw on Wednesday, 14 August.
The event was attended by the coaches, team captains, and a few extra parents and students from 12 West Rand schools. The aim of the event was to sort the participating teams into the four pools for the night cricket tournament. The team captains from Laerskool Helderkruin and Constantia Kloof Primary School were unable to attend.
The finals for this tournament will be held on 9 September.
The draw results were as follows:
Pool A – Laerskool Helderkruin, Laerskool Muldersdrif, and Laerskool Florida.
Pool B – Laerskool Roodekrans, Weltevreden Park Primary School, and Ridgevale Primary School.
Pool C – Constantia Kloof Primary School, Laerskool Randfontein and Maragon Ruimsig
Pool D – Curro Krugersdorp, Laerskool Horison, and Laerskool Dr Havinga.
