Councillor Caleb Finn’s leave has been extended

Ward 70 councillor, Caleb Finn, regretfully informed residents that he is unable to return to work until mid-September.

On 20 August, Ward 70 councillor, Caleb Finn sent out a message on the ward’s Facebook page, updating residents on his current situation.

He regretfully informed them that, though he had hoped he would be back at work by now, he has been advised that he will be off until mid-September. He is currently still undergoing treatment, but is well on his way to recovery and needs to allow himself time to recover fully. The ward councillor has been on sick-leave since 31 July, and the community has shown tremendous understanding and concern; he has, however, been unable to respond to all the messages he has received as yet.

Councillor Finn thanked the residents for all of their support and understanding during this time. He notified his ward that should they need the assistance of a councillor during his absence, they can contact either councillor David Dewes on 082 453 9846 or victorian@icon.co.za, or councillor Ingrid Reinten on 083 440 8343 or ireinten.public.rep@gmail.com.
