Three chess teams to battle it out at provincial level

The school is pleased to have two teams (the U/13 and U/15) representing the D12 region at the Gauteng Chess Championships two years in a row.

 

Trinityhouse Little Falls’ U/15 chess team has joined other two other age groups from the school that will be competing at the Gauteng Chess Championships this Saturday, 24 August.

The U/15 team advanced to the Championships after winning the D12 tournament on 17 August.

The youngsters progressed alongside the U/19 team, which qualified automatically in the Roodepoort Round on 20 July, and the U/13 team from the preparatory school.

The school is pleased to have two teams (the U/13s and U/15s) representing the D12 region at the Gauteng Chess Championships two years in a row.
