The King’s School West Rand Grade 11 learner, Robyn Ward, recently made her school proud after achieving remarkable placings at a horse-riding competition.
From 9 to 11 August, Robyn represented the equestrian team at the South African National Equestrian Schools Association (SANESA) regionals. Her impressive performance resulted in her being selected out of a large field of West Rand riders to represent Gauteng West at the competition.
Robyn did extremely well and took home some good placings: For Dressage she was placed 24th, Working Riding 9th, Equitation 16th, 70cm Speed Class 14th and 70cm Competition Class 10th.
