A special day for the women at the Garden

There were 95 vendors selling from special blinged-up T-shirts, to home décor, jewellery, clothes, genuine leather handbags and children’s educational toys and books.

 

Event Ladies SA hosted a Women’s Day event at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Garden, and it was all about celebrating women and doing the things they love.

Women were granted free entrance to the Gardens and they brought along their friends and family to enjoy a beautiful day in a perfect environment.

There were 95 vendors selling from special blinged-up T-shirts, to home décor, jewellery, clothes, genuine leather handbags and children’s educational toys and books.

Managing Director of Event Ladies SA, Michele van Zyl said, “We host our market on the first Saturday of every month. We also host special events and will be partnering with Park & Ride from September to assist us with the parking.”

With more than 3 900 patrons entering the Garden, it was a family affair with numerous women receiving free gifts, ranging from jewellery to water bottles and everything in between.

With more than 24 food and drinks vendors selling anything from wraps to Burritos, tacos, naan, nachos, cheesy steak bowls and potjiekos, the visitors were spoilt for choice.

Craft beer, pink gin and French champagne washed down the delicious treats. It was indeed a special day for the women.
