Toy Fair celebrates its 11th year
Collectors sold their collections, but also added to their own, at the annual toy fair
Hoërskool Florida played host to the 11th edition of Richie’s Toy Fair and Classic Car Show, where 42 collectors gathered to showcase their collections.
On the day, collectors had the chance to showcase their collections and sell them to other collectors. Products varied from model cars, games, trains, airplanes, Star Wars, Dinky Toys, Matchbox Cars, and Hot Wheels, to Corgi Toys, teddy bears, television and film-related collections, Lego, action figures and much more.
The Toy Fair happens three times a year and is one of South Africa’s biggest festivals for collectors.
“This is the place for all collectors to have a chance to make a couple of bucks and do what they love –to collect. Collectors also have the chance to find something that they might not have found previously to add to their collection.
“We hope to have the next fair at Marks Park in November, and invite collectors to come and join in,” said Josh Richards, the organiser and manager of the Toy Fair.
