VW Polo occupants robbing learners outside Allen Glen High School

Learners attending Allen Glen High School have been warned to be vigilant following the recent robbery of a learner by three suspects driving a car.

According to BCI Security’s operations manager, Rudi Holtzhausen, the perpetrators are travelling in a green VW Polo hatchback.

The learner was robbed of his tablet and cellphone on Gansiebos Street, about 4km away from the school.

During a recent Honeydew Sector 2 Community Policing Forum where this matter was tabled, security companies said they were on the lookout for this vehicle.

Until the perpetrators are caught, learners who walk to school are advised to walk in groups and avoid secluded areas.
