According to unconfirmed reports, the latest operation resulted in 32 arrests.

A tweet by the City of Johannesburg Group Forensic and Investigation Service states that they managed to demolish structures used to grind gold, recovered stolen goods and confiscated all their equipment again.
“Some of the items confiscated by the police include Pikitup wheeled bins used by illegal miners at Matholesville,” read the tweet.
The MMC for Public Safety, Michael Sun, congratulated every stakeholder who was part of Operation #BuyaMthetho.
