Pathways urges community to ride for a purpose

Pathways Roodepoort is in need of a sponsor for T-shirts for the day, as well as people keen to cycle for the cause.

Pathways Roodepoort Centre for Disabled Children has registered a charity bond for the Momentum 947 Cycle Challenge that will be held on Sunday, 17 November 2019.

Last year’s entrants didn’t just own the streets of Johannesburg for a day, but were among thousands of cyclists who tackled and conquered the 947 Cycle Challenge for the first time.

Pathways Roodepoort is in need of a sponsor for T-shirts for the day, as well as people keen to cycle for the cause.

In 2012, a group of friends rallied together to help Pathways Roodepoort and started a team in the Ride for a Purpose Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge.

It has been a successful fundraiser which the centre aims to continue this year as Pathways relies on fundraising events and donations to keep doing its good work.

To register, go to www.cyclechallenge.co.za. Enter your details and click on ‘join team/bond’ and insert “Pathways Roodepoort” under group name. Alternatively, contact Sunette Pretorius on 082 903 0087 for more information.
