Lions Club celebrates their new district governor

On the evening of Friday, 12 July, the Lions Club of Wilro Park welcomed their newly elected District Governor for the 2019/ 2020 term.
In celebration of Alaister Tuckett’s appointment, a Welcome Home function was held at the club. Attendees were treated to some delicious soup and bread to warm up the winter evening.
“I am very honoured to fill this position. I have always been passionate about reaching out to the community and lending a helping hand. I would continue to uphold the name of the Lions Club and serve with pride and dignity,” Alaister said.
