Roodepoort Police Station to host auction

“All items will be sold on the day, including electronic equipment (televisions and computers), bicycles, chairs and many other items," he said.

The Johannesburg West Cluster has organised an auction of various items of state property at Roodepoort Police Station during the morning of 31 July.

According to Honeydew Police spokesperson, Captain Balan Muthan, it will be a silent action, a type of auction which is run without taking bids. Instead, bids are written on a sheet of paper that is commonly placed before or next to the item.

“All items will be sold on the day, including electronic equipment (televisions and computers), bicycles, chairs and many other items,” he said.

He also reminded bidders that no deposits will be accepted, the full amount for the item is payable immediately. Also, those keen on purchasing televisions are advised to produce their television licences.
