The Muldersdrift Police station commander, Lieutenant Colonel Mankontsho Setlhare, thanked the Community Policing Forum members, security companies, and patrollers for their involvement in a successful crime-related operation.
On 4 July, these role-players held an integrated district rural safety operation where various spots were targeted and arrests made.

The spokesperson for the station, Constable Slindile Ntuli, discussed the successes. “Three suspects were arrested for possession of dagga and one suspect arrested for possession of stolen property. Two illegal shebeens were shutdown and 13 illegal immigrants were also arrested during the operation. Three dogs were confiscated from poor conditions and taken to the SPCA,” she explained.
