“BCI Management responded and went to the scene on Saayman Street in Harveston. Upon investigation, we found the remains of a newborn baby lying on the pavement, covered in rubbish.”
“According to the person who found the body, he was sifting through the rubbish bins looking for plastic bottles when he found the baby,” Holtzhausen explained.
He added that the police and ER24 were alerted to attend the scene.
“Investigations are under way to determine if the baby was from a unit inside a complex in the same street where the rubbish bins were found,” Holtzhausen indicated.
