Carla Hercules was recently appointed Head of School for Nova Pioneer Ruimsig.

Carla, who is no stranger to leadership roles, is set to lead the school when it opens its doors to pre-primary and primary learners in January 2020.

“We are confident that with Carla’s extensive experience and her inspiring leadership, Nova Pioneer Ruimsig learners will be developed into our future leaders and innovators,” said Belinda Godfrey, Nova Pioneer managing director.

She added, “Carla is passionate about the unique Nova Pioneer learning approach which prepares our learners to be globally competitive in the 21st century, and subsequently go on to change the continent and the world”.

Carla, who happens to be a long-time resident of the Roodepoort area, expressed her excitement at the prospect of joining the new school.

“I am intrigued by the Nova Pioneer mission and vision,” she said.

Carla has tons of experience and skills in the education sector. She was principal for seven years at Sharonlea Primary School prior to accepting this new post.
