Fairlands Montessori celebrates Father’s Day in style

Fathers enjoyed the morning as they felt appreciated as dads.

In celebration of Father’s Day, the Fairlands Montessori Pre-primary school invited the fathers of its learners to come spend the morning with their children at the Rand Society of Model Engineers in Florida.

Fathers and their little ones had the opportunity to enjoy an unlimited number of train rides as they bonded without their mommies.

Everyone was treated to some delicious vetkoek and mince, as well as tea and biscuits.

The fathers enjoyed the morning as they felt appreciated and honoured.

“This year we decided to host our Father’s Day at the Rand Society of Model Engineers, and what a lovely experience it was. They were extremely accommodating and professional, I feel that the event was a huge success and enjoyed by both the fathers and the children.

A big ‘thank you’ goes to my wonderful staff (Chad Bailey, Jacey Toop, Abigirl Nsube and Darnette Swarts) and of course my awesome Mom (and co-owner) Venessa Talbot,” said the school’s owner and principal, Nichola Bothwell.
