Invitation to a soup kitchen in Witpoortjie
"We are all about feeding people and helping them nourish themselves.”
Building The Face of Our Future (BFF) is inviting the community to join them at their second soup kitchen at the municipal flats at the corner of Corlett Avenue and Progress Road in Witpoortjie on Saturday, 22 June.
The soup kitchen will be up and running from 8am till 10am. Their aim is to provide people with their first meal of the day.
Yolande Opperman from BFF said they are all about empowering dignity through humanity.
The company is also involved in a knitting project whereby they knit scarves for schools in and around Witpoortjie.
They are calling on anyone who wants to donate wool and needles, or who is willing to knit, to contact Yolande on 073 147 1422.
