Family seeking help with the burial of Khomoyana
"I have nothing, all I want is to bury my husband."
The family of Lebotho Khomoyana is appealing to the community for assistance in raising money for his funeral.
Khomoyana was shot dead on Friday, 7 June, by unknown men who stormed into his house in Matholesville.
Speaking to the Record, the family said they are asking for any type of donation.
His emotional wife said, “The burial policy we have only covers the coffin and family cars. We do not have money to purchase the piece of ground to bury him and we also do not have money for food. I am unemployed, and everything is just too much.”
She concluded by explaining that her husband’s body has been in the mortuary for two weeks and they have to bury him on or before Saturday, 22 June, because management at the mortuary said if they don’t, they will have to start paying mortuary fees from next week.
Anyone willing to donate can contact Paulina on 073 206 0608 or Puseletso on 076 691 1240.
