The Goliaths brings down the house

The room was filled with bursts of laughter as comedians took members of the audience on a trip to a land of joy and laughter.

On the evening of Friday, 7 June, Robin-Lee Jones, founder of Time4comedy, held a comedy night at the DèJá Vu Night Club in Florida. The various comedians kept the full house audience on the edges of their seats as they were serving hot tummy-tickling jokes.

The acts included Jason, Donovan and Nicholas Goliath from the production called The Goliath Brothers, as well as the multi-talented Tats Nkonzo.

Jason has performed successfully at numerous corporate events and leading comedy rooms/ events, including Blacks Only, Proudly Coloured Comedy Festival, Parkers, Melville Underground, Captains Comedy Festival, AWEdnesday Comedy Jam, LOL at Gold Reef City, Comics Choice Awards Winners Lap, The Box, and many more.

Donovan is the creative voice of the Loerie Awards 2018 and a host on M-Net. He was also the host of The Real Goboza, which is one of South Africa’s most watched television shows.

Nicholas has also performed at The State Theatre and Comedy Central Africa International Comedy Festival. He is not only a popular stand-up comedian on the South African circuit but also a sought-after MC, entertainer and actor. As a qualified MC, he has hosted a number of corporate events. He has also done work for banks and cellphone network providers.

Tats Nkonzo is an award-winning stand-up comedian, singer, musician and television personality best known as the host of the e.TV reality competition, SA’s Got Talent. He is also was a co-host on Uyangithanda na? and an Idols top 12 finalist.
