The Florida Police arrested two alleged drug dealers on Thursday, 13 June, after they were found in possession of drugs.
This was confirmed by Sergeant Mpho More, spokesperson for the station, who said they acted on a tip-off they’d received.

“It is alleged that on Thursday, members from the Florida Police Station received a tip-off from the community about drug dealers operating on Plaza Road in the Florida CBD, and on Assegaai Street in Fleurhof. The police swiftly responded to the tip-off and two drug dealers were arrested. The drugs seized are worth R2 500,” said More.
The two suspects, in their early thirties, will appear at the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court.
“We would like to thank the community for being our eyes and ears,” she concluded.
