Pikitup running behind schedule

Pikitup, the waste management entity of the City of Johannesburg is aware of refuse not having been collected in some areas in Roodepoort.

According to Pikitup spokesperson, Muzi Mkhwanazi, there is currently a backlog within the Roodepoort depot, which is causing the delays in collection in some areas.

“Refuse collection should be done between today, 12 June and tomorrow, 13 June,” Mkhwanazi said.
