Update on the missing eagle
Photographer and observer, Johan van den Berg said, “He was not sighted today (Tuesday 11 June), and we will probably issue an official statement later”.
The Black Eagle Project Roodekrans (BEPR) has not been able to locate the missing black eagle, Thulane. Thulane was last seen on Sunday, 9 June.
On Tuesday, 11 June, photographer and observer, Johan van den Berg said, “He was not sighted today, and we will probably issue an official statement later this afternoon”.

Thulane has not returned to the nest where the female eagle, Makatsa is incubating her eggs.
The BEPR team has walked from R28 to Rangeview and again from Rangeview to the Water Tower but had no luck spotting the missing raptor.
