Young coach Tevin with mature achievements
Tevin was recruited by the University of Johannesburg (UJ) to do some work with the first team soccer sides, both male and female.
Tevin Blignaut is a young man from Breaunanda, who has achieved a lot as a soccer coach.
Tevin began his coaching career in 2012 at a club named Palmeros FC, and later became the 1st team’s strength and conditioning coach for Alexandra United, playing in the ABC Motsepe League.
In 2014, Alexandra United finished runners up in the ABC Motsepe League, losing the league on the last day of the season. A year later, Tevin received a national team call-up as a strength and conditioning coach to represent the country in the 2015 U/17 FIFA World Cup in Chile.

The proud coach said, “It is very important to have an educational backing, especially in sports. I am a SAFA accredited coach, a certified Strength and Conditioning coach, have a BA Communications Degree, BA Hons Sport Science Degree and am currently a Sport Science Masters student.”
Two years later, Tevin was recruited by the University of Johannesburg (UJ) to do some work with the first team soccer sides, both male and female.
While at UJ, Tevin tucked a number of achievements under his belt, as UJ was crowned the winners of the Johannesburg Football Cup, the gold medal winner of the African University Games (FASU), and runners-up with UJ in the Varsity Football competition, all in the same year.
Tevin’s hard work and dedication payed off in 2018, when he was appointed as General Manager of World Wide Scholarships Group Africa (WWSA).
