Ons Huis honours staff members

"Thank you to everyone for all the work they do in their different roles here at Residentia Ons Huis."

Residentia Ons Huis held a staff function on Friday, 31 May, to thank their personnel for their hard work.

“The function was just to show appreciation to our staff for their compassion to our residents,” said Marita van den Berg, the manager of Ons Huis.

Happy Feitlahano of Jive Pro Dance Academy was the Master of Ceremonies (MC) at the function. He entertained the staff by showcasing some of his amazing choreography.

“I would like to thank everyone present and those who are not here for the work you put in. If it were not for you, this place would not be known for the amazing work it does,” said Happy.

The staff were treated to a three-course meal and some awards as well as certificates were presented. They all received certificates, from the best cook to the most loyal employee, among others. Employee of the Year was won by Josef Letwaba.

The decor and organisation of the function was done by Ellen of BEB’s, who was thanked by Marita for all the work done. Learners from the Kings School in Kilburn Road acted as waiters and did some kitchen cleaning.

Marita concluded by saying,”Thank you to everyone for all the work they do in their different roles here at Residentia Ons Huis.”
