Ward 71 residents who want to be hands on with the happenings in their community are urged to register on an online forum to receive information about their community.
” By doing this, residents will ensure that they stay in the loop of what is going on in the community,” said the ward’s councillor, René Benjamin.
Registration is open only to residents who reside in the following areas:
-Witpoortjie
– Lindhaven/ Reefhaven
– Culembeeck
– Batavia
– Davidsonville
– Groblerpark
– Princess A.H.
– Roodepoort West
The resident information group is not a chat group, but a broadcast group, on which only the administrator can send messages. It is aimed at keeping residents informed about relevant matters, power or water issues, traffic lights, projects and any other relevant issues. Residents will not be able to respond on this group.
