Homeowners urged to be vigilant

This comes as house robberies are on the rise.

Residents are being urged to report any suspicious activities in their areas. This comes as house break-ins are on the rise.

According to a post by the Witpoortjie warnings group, a house in Shingwedzi Street was broken into on Tuesday, 4 June, at about 2pm, while the owners were at work. The owners are said to have only discovered the break-in when they returned from work.

The warnings group also added that two vehicles were involved, a white BMW X35 and a white Nissan MP300. It also stated that electronic equipment, clothes and food were stolen from the house.

There have also been reports that another house was broken into recently in Kloofendal.
