Taxi causes chaotic crash at Hillfox

The taxi is said to have entered the Hill Fox Value Centre property in Weltevreden Park and ploughed into a VW mini-bus, causing it to skid, plunge into a shop and damage it.

 

Several people were transported to hospital this morning, Thursday, 6 June, after a taxi caused a freak accident inside a local shopping centre.

According to a report by BCI Security, a total of seven patients were treated at the scene after the taxi driver lost control of his vehicle, allegedly because of brake failure.

The taxi was still moving after hitting the mini-bus and rammed into a small bakkie before coming into a standstill.
