Netcare 911 treats five in two separate accidents
At about 12.45pm, the medics responded to a collision on the N1 Western Bypass in Weltevreden Park where two cars were involved in a collision.
Netcare 911 ambulances treated and transported a number of patients to hospitals yesterday, Tuesday, 4 June, following two accidents in Roodepoort.
At about 12.45pm, the medics responded to a collision on the N1 Western Bypass in Weltevreden Park, where two cars were involved in a collision.

According to information from Netcare 911, an adult male and female, and a minor from the one car sustained moderate injuries and were treated on scene and transported by ambulance to a hospital for further treatment. The driver of the second car, who was the only occupant in the other vehicle, escaped without injury.
About six hours later, at about 6.40pm, Netcare 911 also responded to another collision, this time on Handicap Road in Ruimsig, where a light motor vehicle and a light delivery vehicle (LDV) were involved in a collision.

According to the report, the driver of the car sustained serious injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilise him, while the driver of the LDV sustained minor injuries. He was treated on scene before being transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
