Feed-the-Furry’s third drive
The organisation held its third drive at the 9th Day Rescue on 18 May.
The non-profit organisation, Feed-the-Furry, delivered 361 kilograms of dog food to the 9th Day Rescue during its third food drive, which took place on Saturday, 18 May.
During the drive, 9th Day also received their signage, which was installed at the entrance, from its sponsor.
“I felt good about the drive. However, the amount of food we delivered will only last for about three days. So my aim is definitely to get more food in the future to last shelters longer,” said Celeste Vermeulen, founder of Feed-the-Furry.
The non-profit organisation collects food, blankets, clothing and any second-hand goods for animal shelters that are in need every month.
