Educating learners about social issues
Cyber crime, sexting and bullying among other things were discussed.
The learners at Beulah Private Primary School in Roodepoort North are now well equipped to deal with the many social ills affecting youngsters.
The Roodepoort Police Corporate Communications official, Captain Juanita-Anne Yorke, Social Crime Prevention Coordinator, Constable Shumikazi Mbuli and Johannesburg Metro Police Department Officer Seribe Mphahlele visited the school recently.
According to Yorke, they discussed cyber crime, sexting, bullying, theft, and traffic safety and learners were taught the emergency contact numbers for the police and Crime Stop.
