#IMadeMyMark – Police prepare for Election Day duties

According to Roodepoort Police spokesperson, Captain Juanita Yorke, the men and women in blue will be out in full force to ensure the safety of voters on Election Day.

On Monday, 6 May, just a few days before Election Day, police officers of the Johannesburg West District paraded at Diesploot Police Station where they were assigned their Election Day duties.

This is to ensure safety to all South Africans who are voting on 8 May, according to the Roodepoort Police spokesperson, Captain Juanita Yorke.

She said that the men and women in blue will be deployed at all voting stations to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
