Teen on the road to recovery

After undergoing treatment and healing at home, the 17-year-old teenager who escaped a kidnapping tragedy, will soon face the world again.

An update by the mother of the victim indicated that her daughter was on the road to recovery. “She’s getting there. Most of her wounds are recovering now and she’s going to able to return to school soon,” her mother updated.

The teen sustained a number of injuries after she jumped out of the kidnapper’s vehicle which has since been sought by law enforcement.

The mother also thanked her family and the community for reaching out to her daughter during her difficult period. However, she indicated that she has not received any feedback from the Police regarding the case.

The Florida Police have been approached for comment.
