Roodepoort plumber wins big award

The Institute of Plumbing South Africa (IOPSA) hosted its annual awards evening recently, in an event filled with glitz and glamour.

The event was held at the AHA Gateway Hotel in Umhlanga, and saw three finalists vying for the big prize.

Deon Nel from S60 Rapid Plumbing received the coveted award when he was crowned as 2019’s Plumber of the Year.

But, he did not only receive this big award. He will also be attending the World Plumbing Conference, which will take place in Melbourne, Australia during September, courtesy of the Plumbing Industry Registration Board.
