According to Ward 84 councillor, Gert Niemand, the Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) will hold a by-election to elect a new ward councillor.
Caleb has confirmed that he will probably be the acting councillor for Ward 83 until a new councillor is elected after the national elections.
