A great rugby game for Havies
They also showed off their skills as future rugby players of South Africa
On Wednesday, 17 April, Laerskool Dr Havinga’s Welpies played a good game of rugby against Laerskool Kenmare, in a tournament hosted by Laerskool Helderkruin.
Even though they did not keep score, the boys managed to have lots of fun as they were being introduced to rugby. They learnt a lot about the rules of the sport and they also showed off their skills as future rugby players of South Africa. More than five schools participated in the tournament, in games that started at 3.20pm, and continued until 6.30pm.
Their next game will be on Saturday, 3 May at the Randfontein Afrikaans Medium School.
