
Residents of Bram Fischerville have been left in reeling shock after discovering the body of a well-known man lying in a pool of blood at his home.
The man, who is believed to be in his 50s and was a self-employed panel beater, was found by his neighbour this morning,Wednesday, 24 April, covered in blood and lying on his stomach in the kitchen of his house. He was shot in the forehead, according to photos seen by the Record.

A neighbour, who wished to remain anonymous, said she had heard a gunshot the previous night, but did not realise where the sound came from.
A hit is suspected by some of the onlookers as most of the victim’s house was not ransacked by the intruders. However, the Record learnt that the deceased’s personal documents and a television were missing from the house.

Dobsonville Police spokesperson Mzwakhe Xazi indicated that a case murder was being investigated at the station and they are appealing to anyone with more information to come forward.
