Witpoortjie brothers shine at Talent Africa
They qualified for participation in New York
Two brothers from Witpoortjie participated in the recent Talent Africa National Championships, and did very well.
The Nationals took place at the Roodepoort Theatre, and participants from all over Gauteng competed. The six-year-old JT Roux and his 10-year-old brother, JP, competed in a variety of categories, and bagged a total of six gold medals between the two of them.
JT also won the Mr Talent Africa Junior 2019 title, while JP came in second place.
These achievements meant that they were selected to be part of the South African team that will be competing at Talent America, which will be taking place in New York later this year.
“Even though we are extremely proud of the boys, the achievements come with a huge financial burden, as it costs R57 000 per person. We will do everything we can to make this happen for them, but, if there is anyone who would like to help with a donation, it will be appreciated,” said Luitha Roux, their proud mother.
