It’s all for South Africa, and South Africa for all with Maragon’s Grade 1s

The day brought to an end a special educational week for the little ones.

Maragon Ruimsig Primary School’s Grade 1 learners all had the chance to come to school on Friday, 12 April dressed as anything that fitted into the theme ‘South Africa’.

The little ones, who are nearly halfway through their first year of ‘big school’ at Maragon, had spent the week learning all that they could about South Africa, so it was only fitting that they finish the week off by dressing up as what they’d learnt about.

Some of the outfits were definitely mommy and daddy inspired, but many pitched up in beautiful traditional attire or a South African sports team’s jersey. The teachers refused to be left out however, as they too joined in on the fun, and everyone received a hot dog during break.
