Zandspruit club owner escapes hijacking

Shoko said he was returning from dropping off two of his players when there was an attempt to hijack him.

 

Golden Drifters Football Club president, Proud Shoko, will forever be grateful for God’s blessings upon his life after almost becoming a crime statistic this past weekend.

The club owner from Zandspruit told Northsider he was recovering from trauma after narrowly escaping being hijacked in Cosmo City last night, Sunday, 7 April.

Shoko said he was returning from dropping off two of his players when there was an attempt to hijack him. “I was trying to get away from attempted hijackers and I got involved in the accident. My car is damaged but I got out safely,” he said, thanking God’s grace for his spared life.

He mentioned that he had not opened a case as yet, but was thankful to be alive.

Honeydew Police spokesperson, Captain Balan Muthan had previously encouraged victims of crime to open cases immediately.
