While the ex-lover of threatened Takalani Madzhinga roams free after burning down her shack down, police asserted that the matter was still under investigation.
Madzhinga and her children almost died in their shack in Zandspruit on 13 March, after her ex-boyfriend set the shack alight, allegedly hoping they were all inside.

Madzhinga, who now lives under the care of her new boyfriend, told Northsider during a visit that she lives in fear as the boyfriend was set free.
When details of the matter were requested, Honeydew Police spokesperson, Captain Balan Muthan only said the matter was under investigation.
Madzhinga has since been visited by the DA candidate premier, Solly Msimanga, who is fighting for better services, among other things, for Gauteng.
